Milton, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Houghton's Pond {Chakra Power Yoga Mini Sessions}

Congratulations to the second group of teacher trainees to graduate from Chakra Power Yoga's 200 hour training! I remember my 200 hour well and can't help but feel a little jealous each time I work with a teacher training group because I definitely miss those days! A special thanks to Elissa, Kim, Adrienne, Amelia, Maura, Larissa, Michelle and Colleen!

For these minis, we met at the beautiful Houghton's Pond in Milton, MA to capture each teacher as they start out in the yoga teaching world! I'm thrilled to share a preview of them with you below. Enjoy!

If you're interested in teacher training, you can sign up for CPY's third group, starting this September! Don't forget to give them a like on Facebook and Instagram to stay tuned to all things CPY!

Happy Anniversary, Abbey and Nate!

Here's to wishing Abbey and Nate a very happy first anniversary! I absolutely loved being a part of their intimate wedding last April in Bedford, New Hampshire. If you missed it, you can check out Abbey and Nate's New Hampshire Wedding on the blog. Enjoy!

I am very excited to share a personal update on the blog today. My husband and I are expecting a baby boy! My little photo assistant is due in late August!

What does this mean for 2017 clients? For now, business as usual. I am still meeting, booking, shooting, editing and delivering as usual.

{In fact, if you've been meaning to reach out to schedule a photo shoot, please do!}

My plan is to shoot until early August, and then return to shooting in late October. I will be sure to keep you posted here on my blog as well as on my Facebook page.

What does this mean for 2018 clients? I plan to have a full shooting schedule in 2018.

For all of you mom-entrepreneurs out there, especially those of you who work from home, I'd love your advice on managing work and family.

Thank you for all of the love and support! I cannot tell you how appreciative I am of each and every one of you.

Love, Tracy

Three Years Full Time!

Boston Yoga Photographer

I have to admit, things have been running business as usual around here for so long that it took a Facebook memory status this morning to remind me that today marks THREE FULL YEARS running Tracy Rodriguez Photography full time!

I started shooting in 2000, went to yoga teacher training in 2011 - which changed my life (career perspective, life goals, general outlook) - and I started shooting yoga photography directly following. I added on wedding photography in 2013 and then in early 2014, I left my corporate marketing job to run this business with all of my might.

I have loved every second of it, yes, even the grueling number crunching and tedious tasks, because they all add up to me being able to pursue this passion of mine full time.

I am so grateful to all of you, my clients, my fans and followers, my supporters. Please know that I think of you daily and appreciate everything you give. So, from my heart, know I love you. And I thank you.

And if you're in that place, looking to find a way to make your passion your career, know that you can do it. I promise. You have everything it takes. Feel free to comment below for some inspiration or message me any time. I've got your back.

Here's to another year at Tracy Rodriguez Photography!

Namaste.

Tracy

PS - Hey fellow business owners! How do you celebrate your successes? I'll be honest, I typically don't. I may mention something to my husband, mom or sister on the phone. I definitely smile ear to ear. Perhaps I do a little blog shout out here and there. But, in a work from home, one woman show, it's hard to have, say, a team dinner celebration. So what do you do? I'd love to know!
