Tracy Rodriguez Photography Wins Wedding Wire Couple's Choice Awards Four Years In A Row!

Boston Wedding Photographer Award

Wow! Thank you to all of my amazing wedding clients for helping me win the 2018 WeddingWire Couples Choice Award!

As many of you know, I welcomed my son Mateo into the world in August and therefore my wedding season was pretty short last year. Needless to say, I was not expecting this award this year given the shorter season. So, wow, just wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review based on your intimate wedding / elopement or full day wedding. Your reviews continue to make such a difference for my business via things like this award! Thank you! And while this year will also be a bit slower as I navigate my new work-life balance, I am so excited to work with all of my 2018 clients!

Don't worry, if you haven't yet submitted a review for your wedding, now is a great time to do so! If you have a moment, please post one to Wedding Wire and help me to continue to grow organically.

About the Couples’ Choice Awards®

The WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards recognize the top 5% of local wedding professionals on WeddingWire that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism. Winners are selected solely based on reviews from more than a million newlyweds and are determined by a combination of excellence in four factors: overall rating, total number of reviews, review performance from 2017, and consistency of reviews from year to year.

Now is a great time to submit a review! Wedding couples, please post to Wedding Wire.

Yogis and all other clients, please post to Google Reviews.

Happy Anniversary, Julie and Patrick!

Here's to wishing Julie and Patrick a very happy first anniversary! I absolutely loved being a part of their intimate wedding last September at outside under the trellis at Christopher Columbus Park in Boston. If you missed it, you can check out Julie and Patrick's Intimate Boston Wedding on the blog. Enjoy!

Weston, MA Intimate Wedding at the Weston Town Hall {Laura + Fred}

Congratulations, Laura and Fred! I am so honored to have been a part of this beautiful couple's elopement last week at the Weston Town Hall. I met up with Laura and Fred to capture their elopement ceremony and some portraits of the newlyweds. And let me say, they were so much fun to work with. Not only were they super adorable together, snuggling up for portraits and laughing the whole time, but they also completely embraced the rainy weather. While it was just a drizzle, it was definitely constant and it didn't phase these two for a second. After all, it also brought with it some really beautiful overcast skies, a photographer's dream for an 11am wedding.

The ceremony took place on the steps of Lanson Park, with the beautiful Town Hall building just behind us. We utilized the building's classic charm, the red brick and stone pillars and ventured around Lason Park to capture the summer time greenery. On the way in, I also spotted a gorgeous stone wall covered in ivy at a nearby church, The First Parish Church in Weston, so we hopped in the car to capture some images with the beautiful background as well.

While I was only with Laura and Fred for an hour, I can easily say that it was a total pleasure to photograph them on their wedding day. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Now, here are a few previews to enjoy!

Three Years Full Time!

Boston Yoga Photographer

I have to admit, things have been running business as usual around here for so long that it took a Facebook memory status this morning to remind me that today marks THREE FULL YEARS running Tracy Rodriguez Photography full time!

I started shooting in 2000, went to yoga teacher training in 2011 - which changed my life (career perspective, life goals, general outlook) - and I started shooting yoga photography directly following. I added on wedding photography in 2013 and then in early 2014, I left my corporate marketing job to run this business with all of my might.

I have loved every second of it, yes, even the grueling number crunching and tedious tasks, because they all add up to me being able to pursue this passion of mine full time.

I am so grateful to all of you, my clients, my fans and followers, my supporters. Please know that I think of you daily and appreciate everything you give. So, from my heart, know I love you. And I thank you.

And if you're in that place, looking to find a way to make your passion your career, know that you can do it. I promise. You have everything it takes. Feel free to comment below for some inspiration or message me any time. I've got your back.

Here's to another year at Tracy Rodriguez Photography!

Namaste.

Tracy

PS - Hey fellow business owners! How do you celebrate your successes? I'll be honest, I typically don't. I may mention something to my husband, mom or sister on the phone. I definitely smile ear to ear. Perhaps I do a little blog shout out here and there. But, in a work from home, one woman show, it's hard to have, say, a team dinner celebration. So what do you do? I'd love to know!
