Dedham, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at MIT Endicott House w/ Rachel Books Smoller

Hi, everyone! Look at that .. I’m back! :) I’ve spent the bulk of 2019 loving up every minute with my son and now I’m ready to return to shooting just in time for the end of this hot, hot summer, and my favorite season to photograph in, the fall. And to kick it all off, none other than the radiant Rachel Books Smoller . We combo-ed a yoga and family session to bring you some beautiful images of Rachel with her family, including another little one on the way! Rachel is a phenomenal prenatal yoga teacher. She personally got me through my pregnancy so I can highly recommend her if you or anyone you know is expecting and looking for a wonderful yoga teacher and community. But, she doesn’t just teach prenatal! You can find out more about her on her website, and check out her classes at Universal Power Yoga and Yoga Works.

Brookline, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Larz Anderson {w/ Jacqui Bonwell 500 Hour Teacher Trainees}

I can hardly believe that I just finished up my last photo shoot before maternity leave. For the last several years, the spring and summer months have been the start of a beautiful outdoor season and my favorite, yet to come, is the fall. But alas, growing a little baby has been an amazing and humbling experience and my 38 week pregnant body is telling me it's time to lay low and rest before the arrival of our little guy.

It was such an honor to work with this group of yoga teachers from Jacqui Bonwell's most recent 500-hour yoga teacher training. Mini sessions are, well, mini in nature, but in working with these women for just a few moments each, I could tell instantly what beautiful souls they each are. A huge thanks to Jori, Rachel, Kristen, Pam and Erin, for braving two storms and patiently waiting for a beautiful summer day to come along.

These sessions were shot at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA. Enjoy!

Contact me today if you're interested in setting up a yoga photo shoot. While I am pausing shooting for my maternity leave, I expect to have limited availability in the fall and winter and to return to shooting full time in the spring. If you'd like to be added to my wait-list, please do be in touch asap as it will be prioritized on a first-contacted, first-served basis. Please pardon slower than usual response times during the next few months.

Teacher Feature: Kathryn Ford Richter

Back in August, I met the lovely Kathryn Ford Richter, a life and wellness coach, essential oils educator, yoga teacher and nurse. {Yes, she really does it all!}

With the goal of creating some beautiful photographs for her professional website, we went over to Houghton's Pond in Milton, MA and had an absolute blast shooting all over the park. Kathryn even went on the water with her Stand Up Paddle Board which was pretty spectacular to photograph! If you missed it, you can check out the blog I originally posted about her yoga and branding photo shoot and I am now so pleased to share her new website with all of you!

Kathryn is a phenomenal life coach and I highly recommend checking out her small group program launching this January. This program is perfect for those of you who set out to make New Year's Resolutions every year yet struggle to make them stick. Kathryn will work with you to set goals, look at what's holding you back and give you the tools needed to create lasting change. She limits this group to four people so sign up today!

Below are a sampling of pages. I encourage you to check out more at You can also follow her business on Facebook and Instagram.

Have you launched a website, Instagram profile, or other marketing material featuring images from our photo shoots? If so, I'd be happy to shout out your stuff! Shoot me an email and let me know what you'd like featured.

I know firsthand that networking and referrals are such a strong part of any small business so the more interconnected client and audience relationship building I can do, the better. Making connections is one of my favorite parts of the Tracy Rodriguez Photography Community.

Dedham, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at MIT Endicott House {w/ Ciara Clark}

Looking at the forecast for my yoga photo shoot with Ciara Clark earlier this week left me with my jaw dropped! I just couldn't believe that we could be so lucky as to be shooting in late October in the near 80's! To have all of this warmth with the perfect mix of beautiful fall foliage was almost too good to be true.

Ciara and I shot at the beautiful MIT Endicott House in Dedham, MA, capturing tons of outdoor beauty in all of its unique spaces. We shot a variety of poses from super challenging arm balances {shout out to ashtavakrasana - eight angle pose - that balance is something fierce!} to warriors and standing balances to simple seated meditative poses. Ciara rocked them all with beauty and grace and I now can't wait to share some previews with you.

Ciara currently teaches at Acorn Yoga in Brighton and Gold's Gym in South Boston. She also teaches special events and classes at and at the Hands to Heart Center, a local non-profit organization that provides free yoga classes for people living with poverty and trauma in Boston.

Make sure to give her page a like on Facebook and follow her on Instagram to learn more about her and her classes and to see more images from our photo shoot!

Milton, MA Photo Shoot Outdoors {w/ Mary Keohane}

I could not be more excited to share previews from my yoga photo shoot with Mary Keohane. Earlier this week, Mary and I met in her gorgeous backyard to capture some yoga photography for her small business. Let me tell you, her backyard is just as lovely as she is. Complete with a stone structure, beautiful trees, and a brand new gorgeous pathway full of growing greenery, I was in a photographer's dream. It's truly a sacred space to photograph and I am sure that is not just from it's pure beauty but more so mainly to do with the woman and family cultivating it. Mary and I chatted about her classes and teachings and how she likes to create spaces for small groups to really become a community. In her classes, she provides a safe and supportive environment for her students to explore and grow; and, she makes sure that each student feels they are getting personalized attention. From working with Mary just this one time so far, I can tell you that she is a completely beautiful person inside and out, with an authentic, nurturing and inspiring energy. I cannot wait to get to one of her yoga classes myself!

You can find Mary teaching at The Center at Westwoods, the Milton Art Center, and the Milton Public Library.

Announcing Chakra Power Yoga Waltham!!

I could not be more thrilled to announce that one of my closest friends, Nicole Burrill, is opening her second yoga studio, Chakra Power Yoga Waltham this weekend! Come join Nicole for her first class in the space on June 4th, 9:30am, for what is sure to be a powerful vinyasa flow class. More information can be found on the studio website, and on Facebook. Sign up on MindBody to reserve your space and make sure to add Chakra Power Yoga Waltham to your favorites on the MindBody app!

The studio is located at 740 Main Street in Waltham, MA, across from the library. Enter to the right side of the building on Daniel's court. There is deeded parking behind the building and church and plenty of 2-hour street parking on Main Street. {Hey, logistics are important!}

And now, a few quick previews from our studio shoot earlier this week. A special thanks to the teachers and students who volunteered for the photo shoot and to Nicole, Erica, Erin, Kris and Grace for rocking out in their mini sessions!

And yes, I recognize that this post is completely filled with logistics and details and all things non personal because if I were to go into how proud of I am of this girl and what she has done for and brought to the yoga community and to me personally, I'd be balling in a hot second and we wouldn't want that. Love you, Nicole.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday!
