I met Laura as a student in my yoga class at Beacon Hill Athletic Clubs in 2011. Since then, Laura has actually become a yoga teacher herself and teaches spin! She completed her 200 hour teacher training at Back Bay Yoga in Boston. She's moved from the Boston area to upstate New York so you can now find her at Saratoga Cycling Studio. We miss having her in Boston!

I have had a blast working with Chanel Luck over the years and this shoot was particularly exciting because it was our first session for her new studio, Radiant Yoga Boston. This shoot highlighted some of the original yoga instructors at her studio, and was shot at iconic Castle Island, just minutes from RYB.

Jamaica Plain, MA Acro Yoga Photo Shoot w/ Pat Donaher & Amy Meyer

Location - Arnold Arboretum, Jamaica Plain, MA

When I first started practicing yoga, there were a few teachers who were extremely influential on my path, and one of them was Pat Donaher. Pat teaches incredibly intelligent yoga. He has an innate awareness of the body and the influence of movement which led me to have a lot of empowering "yoga firsts" like ashtavakrasana and handstand in his class. He makes acro yoga accessible to all. If you haven't tried it, it's a great lesson in trust and empowerment.

Location - Dedham Square, Dedham, MA

I spotted this location while driving through Dedham Square one evening and thought it would be a ton of fun to play around with the industrial look of this corner. I knew Pat and Amy would be up for something a little different in this acro yoga shoot. Pat, one of my very first yoga teachers, is now certified in acro yoga as well.
