Walpole, MA Family Mini Sessions at Bird Park

Now that holiday cards have been delivered and framed prints have been gifted, I am excited to share a few images from this year's Fall Family Mini Sessions. While most of the year I focus on weddings, engagements and yoga photography, I love this annual tradition that allows me to work with so many amazing families. I absolutely love watching these families grow year over year and am already looking forward to next year's sessions. {Because of the overwhelming popularity of these sessions, I actually held two dates this year. Unfortunately, the second planned date was rained out and in an effort to finalized the images with time to create and mail holiday cards, you will notice a variety of backgrounds and scenery. Jamaica Plain, MA Family Photo Shoot in the Arboretum {The Murphy Family}

It's hard to believe I met this amazing couple over a decade ago. I'm not quite sure where the time has gone since our freshman year at BU but I do know how lucky I feel to have met and stayed in touch with so many wonderful people. When Caitlin and Murph {Andrew, sorry} contacted me to set up a family photo shoot, I also felt extremely lucky to have a profession that puts me back in contact with so many, to be a part of their wedding days and watch their families grow. Go ahead and call me sappy, but it really does give me goosebumps. I'm so excited to share a handful of my photo shoot with the Murphy family at the beautiful Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain. Canton, MA Engagement Session at a private Christmas Tree Farm {Adrienne and Nick}

I cannot stop swooning over this engagement session. Adrienne and Nick, like me, love everything Christmas. This season and all of it's cheer and sparkle and joy holds such a place in my heart. For me, I always think back to when I was so, so little, waiting at the top of the stairs on Christmas morning at my childhood home in Connecticut. That pine scent brings me back to that memory every time. For this session, we met at a private Christmas tree farm in Canton, MA and as we {literally} danced around and decorated a tree, the pine scent was so strong and so comforting. Adrienne and Nick brought not only decorations, but, perhaps my new favorite prop, mistletoe. They were absolutely adorable holding it up to kiss underneath, and snuggling up together near the trees. I am so excited to photograph their wedding next month and to share these previews with you. Enjoy!

Lexington, MA Yoga Photo Shoot at Lexington Power Yoga {Molly Powers}

I absolutely love partnering with Lexington Power Yoga and their amazing team of teachers. For this session, I worked with the lovely Molly Powers. Molly is a yoga teacher, psychic medium and reiki healer. You can learn more about her on her website, Powers of Healing. For this session, we were looking to update her yoga photography for her website and marketing materials. We had so much fun working together and creating some beautiful imagery. {I also loved sharing with her that since my mom has done reiki on me since I was a child, I had always thought that she invented it. I only learned in yoga teacher training in 2011 that it was bigger than just my mom and sisters.} Enjoy!
