2017 Off Auto Beginners Photography Workshop - January 29th is on!

If you missed the December 3rd workshop, don't you worry! Based on popular demand, I've added a date not too far away and perfect for your Christmas list, January 29th!

This workshop is perfect for beginner photographers who are looking to learn more about photography, specifically how to take their DSLR cameras off Automatic and into Manual. If you purchased a fancy camera {but defer to your phone instead} come learn more about it to make it less scary and more accessible. We'll learn how to manipulate the settings to create the photographs you are looking to capture.

This four-hour workshop will be held with no more than five students to keep an intimate and personalized setting, and will include a two-hour open forum presentation, one-hour practical {yes, actually using your camera!} and one-hour regroup with Q&A.

The cost is $295 and there are currently two promotions to reduce the cost for those looking to save a little money. The early bird $265 special starts today and runs through December 11th. And, if you book with a friend, you can take an additional $30 off. You read that right! If you do both, sign up before 12/11 and sign up with a friend, you can save $60 each!

Email me at tracy@thrgallery.com with any questions.

Note that you do not have to own any camera equipment to attend the workshop. I will have my equipment on hand for those who do not yet own DSLRs. If you do own a camera body and lens(s), I highly encourage you to bring your gear so that you can learn right on your own device.

Off Auto Beginners Photography Workshop

Today I hosted my very first photography workshop! Called Off Auto, today's workshop focused on beginner photographers learning to take their cameras from automatic settings to manual settings to create artwork. I had such a great time with this creative, fun-loving, and eager group! Thank you, Michelle, Nancy, Christy, Allison and Nicole! It was such a blast working with you all today!

Thank you also to our beautiful venue, MIT Endicott House in Dedham, MA for hosting us with your beautiful space. This last photo was taken with my iPhone first thing this morning as I arrived. Such a beautiful entrance!
